Want to Upgrade to Windows 8? Notice Requirement!

Windows 8 Upgrade
Windows users, especially Windows 7, of course, hoping to upgrade to Windows 8 when the OS is available (promised in October). However, they are using Vista or XP might be worried about the upgrade process is straightforward.

Well, that is not alarmed continuously, the following is the detail about the possible upgrade path's Windows 8.

Users of Windows XP (SP3) can do the upgrade to Windows 8, but all that remains is your personal files. That is, application or system settings that you have on Windows XP will not carry over to Windows 8.

The same is true for users of Vista without Service Pack. Fortunately, if you are a Vista SP1, because setting the system will also be transported into Windows 8.

Windows 7 users have better luck. All personal data, system settings, and even applications that already exist will be included in Windows 8 when you do the upgrade. But this also depends on the version of Windows 7 that you have and the version of Windows 8 you want.

If you want a basic version of Windows 8, you can upgrade from Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic, or Home Premium. For Windows 8 Pro, you can upgrade from Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, and Pro and Ultimate versions. If you want to upgrade to Windows 8 Enterprise, you can only do it from Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate.

The files and settings you have will not be present in Windows 8 if you upgrade from version 32-bit to 64-bit version.
